We still have vacancies for September 2014, but hurry, they are filling up fast!

Due to a couple of late withdrawals we have ONE vacancy left for a strong candidate for primary and ONE vacancy for an early years trainee for September 2014 on our SCITT programme. Please apply though UCAS selecting Essex Schools ITT Partnership as the provider. The Early Years trainee will be placed in a Colchester School and for the primary place preference will be given to a candidate with a supporting host school, in Essex or surrounding counties, but we may be able to find a school for an exceptional applicant.

We also have vacancies for up to SIX strong primary or early years trainees for September 2014 with one of our School Direct Partners in Rayleigh. Please apply though UCAS selecting South Essex Teaching Institute as the provider.

We also have vacancies for up to TWO  strong primary trainees for September 2014 with one of our School Direct Partners in Thurrock. Please apply though UCAS selecting Gable Hall School as the provider.

We are still accepting secondary applications for D&T, Geography, Music, Computer Studies, Maths and MFL. You need to apply through the UCAS Website selecting Essex Schools ITT Partnership as the provider. Due to the high number of applicants, we are no longer accepting primary applications.

Applicants interested in applying for a SCITT place will need to find a host school that will be able to support them through their training. If you are unable to find a host school then the office will be able to offer you further advice.

Schools Direct

We have primary and secondary School Direct places still available for September 2014.

Applicants interested in Schools Direct places need to apply via the UCAS Website selecting the lead school as the provider. Applicants can search for places by lead school name, subject or location. The school details page will show the allocation of places and ITT providers.

Lead schools that have places remaining:

Please note that all of the above vacancies, SCITT and School Direct will require payment of fees. These can be paid with a student loan. Candidates with a degree of 2i or above may be eligible for a bursary from the NCTL.
